Developed by an Irish educator, Study Skills 4 Success is a process which helps students develop key-learning and study skills for second-level and beyond. The role of the website is to provide students, parents and teachers alike with content on the strategies and techniques involved in the process, in a way that is easy to navigate across multiple devices.
The responsive website, starts with the homepage which I wanted to be a ‘catch-all’ area where visitors could quickly keep up with a latest Blog post as well as download Free study skill resources. From the homepage the choice to navigate deeper into the site and learn about the founder, background on techniques and upcoming seminars is also available through traditional top level links and on-page quadrants. Schools can also book a seminar where a class will be given personal instruction on the process.
Positive images appear throughout, and on key pages scrolling to the bottom reveals dynamic images and quotes to help motivate the visitor.
Navigation and content across the site is streamlined so that the visitor can get what they need, be it new posts, updated resources, or contact details with ease while having the ability to engage with SS4S across social media or direct contact for more information. Branding appears on all collateral materials such as stationery, brochures and study guides used in the day to day operation of the SS4S service.
