CORINA DUYN – Book Archive

Following our collaboration in 2024 with the artist in care Corina Duyn in designing her award winning book ‘In Bed I Cut Words’ we continued working with her in late 2025 on a project to make her written catalogue available online for a global audience.

– David Murphy

Corina has documented her life with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) since 1998 and her archive of written works was the subject of this project. Our role was to collate these works for editing, redesign – if necessary, newly design – if required, finally digitally format them for viewing on her ‘Little Wings’ account on the ISSUU platform.

Our work consisted of cleaning up the formatting and design of a majority of the older books for the modern online viewer. We also provided new designs for three of her works. The final collection numbered ten books, one short story and one article. This archive complements the artist’s Little Wings physical archive at Réalta Centre for Arts + Health, and includes the 20 year anniversary edition of ‘Hatched’, the award winning short story ‘Edvard Munch meets Louis Armstrong’ (2008) and the award winning book ‘In Bed I Cut Words’ (2024).

This project would not have been possible without the funding from the Waterford City and County Council’s ‘Creative Ireland Programme’ whose representatives have been staunch ambassadors of Corina’s work for many years.

Her archive is free to read on the ISSUU platform here.
