Following the creation of the ecommerce website earlier this year for Aspect Interiors we were asked to refresh the company branding, by designing a new visual identity, digital stationery, vehicle livery and social media avatars.
Starting with the new visual identity / logo and after project r&d we created a series of iterations for the client to view with a strong winner emerging which the clients immediately selected.
The resulting design is a capital ‘A’ (Aspect), constructed in two pieces with the left ‘leg’ subtly shadowed by the right – which is a negatively italicised capital ‘I’ (Interiors). The pyramidal shape of the letterform allows the company name to be neatly centered underneath or to the right if circumstances arise with the principal designers name as the base/foundation. The ‘A’ letterform could be used on its own as well as part of the primary design.
The client requested a matt gold as part of the colour scheme which we paired with an ivory and a charcoal grey background for a contemporary but classic feel.
The identity was rolled out across all customer touchpoints such as the company website, van livery (where we were very lucky in having a vehicle with a similar charcoal grey body), on the digital stationery and we designed social media avatars using the ‘A’ letterform.
Completing the branding project we supplied the client with multipole versions of the identity design for use across web, print and display so continuity of style could be controlled and the files would be close at hand when needed.
