Billy Moore has nearly three decades of experience in mechanical and metal engineering, the journey learning his skills have taken him from Ireland to the USA to Australia and back to Ireland again. His passion for creating unique functional objects of art, sculpture, furniture and lighting using old forging techniques, and sometimes incorporating a more modern mechanised approach is what the new e-commerce website we have designed and developed for him is all about.
Mainly work in steel and drawing inspiration directly from the surroundings on his family farm, his aim is always to create simple, clean forms which, more often than not, take their aesthetic from old Irish farm implements, vintage machinery and elements from Ireland’s industrial past.
The new website provides him with a platform to showcase his work by walking the visitor through his projects from brief to execution, with an emphasis on photography of his work.

Billy is very active on social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok, where you can see daily posts as he works on a variety of projects.
